Ravens Bars In D.C.: Watch The Big Game With Purple Faces

Where will you drink beer while rooting for the Ravens this Sunday?

The Redskins had their best season in over a decade. But it's over. Thankfully, a team that plays only 40 miles away is in the Super Bowl.

Kickoff for Super Bowl XLVII, matching the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers, is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

D.C. may not have a horse in this race, but you can root for our neighbors to the north with a Natty Bo at these bars:

  • Buffalo Billiards

    This Dupont Circle bar isn't having a Ravens party per se, but it has supported the Baltimore club in the past and features five 'giant projection screens.' According to their site, "<a href="http://dc.buffalobilliards.com/special-events">The festivities surrounding Super Bowl XLVII in Buffalo Billiards is destined to be almost exciting as the game itself in New Orleans</a>."

  • Ireland's Four Courts

    This <a href="http://www.irelandsfourcourts.com/sports.html">Arlington Irish bar </a>screens Ravens, Redskins and Patriots games throughout the regular season. They're planning on having a drink special for the game.

  • Lucky Bar

    This downtown bar shows regular season Ravens games. <a href="http://www.luckybardc.com/content/super-bowlsunday-feb-3rd-food-beer-specials-available-during-and-after-game">According to their site</a>, for the Super Bowl they will have "Great Food Specials!!!" $3.50 pints and $14 pitchers of Bud Light and $4 pints and $15 Pitchers of Yuengling.

  • Mason Inn

    According to their site, this Glover Park bar is hosting a "<a href="http://www.masoninndc.com/upcoming-events/">Super Bowl Ravens Game Watch</a>" beginning at 6 p.m.

  • McFadden's

    This Foggy Bottom bar is a <a href="http://www.fanloop.com/sportsbar/56242/McFaddens-DC/Ravens-Sports-Bar-Washington-DC.html">Ravens Watch location</a> during the regular season but not for the Super Bowl. <a href="http://www.mcfaddensdc.com/events-details.php?id=2058">According to their site</a>, they will have specials including $8 domestic pitchers, $3 domestic drafts and 1/2 price wing baskets through game.   • Nellie's

    The <a href="http://www.nelliessportsbar.com/index.php#">U St. sports bar</a> will be doing their regular Drag Brunch followed by their regular screening of Sunday football. While it's not a Ravens bar, it is a large, comfortable space to watch the game. Beer and food specials will be available all day. Good for the casual Super Bowl viewer.

  • Old Glory

    This Georgetown BBQ restaurant and bar screens Ravens game during the regular season. Old Glory is staying partisan for the big game. They'll be raffling off a Ravens jersey, 49ers jersey and a Weber Grill. They may also have the best value of any bar. According to their <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Old-Glory-BBQ/97990616640?fref=ts">Facebook page</a>, al all you can eat package for $15 includes mini cheesesteaks, mini meatball subs, wings, corn dogs, tater tot nachos and more. Beer specials include $12 6 packs of Bud, Bud Light, Starr Hill Northern Lights IPA and Kona Longboard and $12 Pitchers of Bud Light, J.Paul's Amber Ale and Stella Artois.

  • The Pug

    The H St. bar is appropriate for the Ravens fan that doesn't like sports bar. They'll be offering $8 tall boys of Natty Bo and a shot of Pikesville Rye, $7 cans of Natty Bo and a shot of Pikesville Rye, $4 pints of Miller Lite and $3 Miller High Life tall boys.
