The 19th annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards ceremony brought some surprises and memorable moments, but not necessarily big wins for Latinos.
Spanish actor Javier Bardem was nominated as Outstanding Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in the new James Bond adventure, "Skyfall," but didn’t score the ultimate prize this time, contrary to expectations.
However, the highlight of the night for Latinos was actress Sofía Vergara. Although she didn’t snag the Outstanding Female Actor in a Comedy Series title, she earned the ultimate Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series award along with her “Modern Family” cast for the third year in a row.
The Colombian beauty attended the ceremony with her fiancé in a beautiful white long dress. Other Hispanic stars like Naya Rivera from Glee, Alexis Bledel and Morena Baccarin where also there to celebrate the special occasion and shined in the red carpet.
